Shared Features in Every Aquapeutics Combo Unit
Before we explore the differences between our 4 featured steam & sauna combinations, let’s cover what all models share.

Every Aquapeutics combination unit includes both a wet steam shower cabin and a dry sauna cabin, but that’s just the start.
Here’s what comes standard across the board:
Bluetooth music + AM/FM radio – Enjoy your favorite playlists or local stations while you relax
Overhead rainfall shower – Offers a spa-style experience in the steam cabin
Height-adjustable handheld shower – Great for targeted rinsing or accommodating all user heights
Body massage jets – Built into the shower wall for tension relief and improved circulation
Overhead lighting – Keeps both cabins well-lit without sacrificing atmosphere
Digital control panel – Centralized control of temperature, lighting, music, steam, and more
Powerful steam generator – Provides thick, enveloping steam in the shower cabin (wet side)
Aromatherapy Capable – Simply pour your chosen oil into the steam outlet to enjoy fragrant, spa-like steam that enhances relaxation and clears the senses.
High-quality fiberglass construction – Durable frame with a premium acrylic surface finish
Stainless steel subframe – Adds long-lasting support beneath the shower base
Daily shower capability – Can function as your everyday shower, not just a spa luxury
Wooden Sauna Cabin – Dry side of the unit features a full wood interior for authentic heat (infrared or traditional heater varies by model)
These shared features make every unit a functional and luxurious addition to your home. Now, let’s dive into what sets each model apart and help you find the one that best fits your space, style, and wellness goals.
Choosing the Right Steam & Sauna Combo for You
While every Aquapeutics combination unit includes our full suite of premium features, each model offers its own layout, heating style, and design elements. Below, we break down the differences so you can find the perfect fit for your space, routine, and wellness goals.
Each unit is a fixed combination of sauna type and size—traditional or infrared, in either a compact or expanded layout. That way, whether you're working with limited square footage or have room to spare, there's a model that fits your space and your goals.
Here’s a snapshot of the size and sauna type combinations at a glance.
Small + Infrared: Southwood
Large + Infrared: Tahitian
Small + Traditional: Hawaiian
Large + Traditional: Saint Kitts
Both small units share the same footprint (48" W x 71" H), as do the large units (48" W x 86.5" H), making it easy to compare based on heating style alone.
Southwood Luxury Steam Shower Sauna
Southwood – Compact Infrared Steam & Sauna Combination
The Southwood combines a dry infrared sauna and a steam shower cabin into a compact 48" W x 71" H x 90" T footprint—perfect for those who want a full-featured spa experience without needing excessive space. It's one of our two smaller-format units and uses its layout wisely, without compromising on comfort or features.
Design-wise, the Southwood has a slightly more modern, high-contrast aesthetic, with its crisp white shower base and dark shower walls offering a clean, contemporary feel. The S6 digital control panel is notable, with a large, easy-to-read format and intuitive button layout that gives it both visual appeal and improved usability. It also controls built-in color-changing LED lighting, allowing you to shift the atmosphere to match your mood or enjoy chromotherapy-style relaxation.
One standout detail in the steam shower cabin is the removable bench. While some might overlook this, it’s actually one of my personal favorite features. The ability to place the bench directly under the overhead rainfall shower while the steam is running offers a deeply relaxing, spa-style experience that’s hard to beat.
Along with the two standard hinged entry doors at the front, the Southwood also includes a sliding glass door between the sauna and shower cabins, making transitions between wet and dry environments seamless and convenient.
This is a left-corner unit, which helps it integrate easily into a wide variety of home layouts while still feeling intentional in its placement.
Tahitian Infrared Steam Sauna
Tahitian Steam Shower with Infrared Sauna
The Tahitian is our larger-format infrared combination unit, measuring 48" x 86.5" x 86.5", and designed as a right-corner unit for seamless integration into larger bathrooms or home spas. It's built with comfort in mind, especially for two users. Its standout feature is the uniquely configured dual-user steam shower cabin, complete with two independently operated handheld showers, a shared built-in bench, and dual sets of body massage jets. It’s perfect for couples or anyone who wants room to stretch without giving up premium features.
On the sauna side, the infrared heating system gives it a subtle advantage over its traditional counterpart, the Saint Kitts: there’s no floor-mounted heater, which leaves just a bit more usable legroom for two people. Ambient perimeter LED lights in the sauna allow you to adjust the mood, adding a sleek, customizable atmosphere to the dry heat experience.
Thanks to its larger footprint, the Tahitian features sliding primary entry doors rather than hinged ones, helping maximize accessibility without taking up additional space. It also retains the sliding glass door between the sauna and steam cabins, making it easy to move between environments without leaving the unit.
The Tahitian is available in either a black or white color scheme, with buttons below to explore each version. This combination of thoughtful design, dual-user comfort, and modern convenience has quickly made it our current best-seller—a customer favorite for those who want space and luxury in equal measure.
Hawaiian Steam Sauna
Hawaiian Steam Shower with Traditional Sauna
The Hawaiian brings the power of a traditional dry sauna and steam shower combination into a compact 48" x 71" x 86.5" footprint. Designed as a left-corner unit, it's ideal for homes where space is at a premium but luxury is still the goal. While it shares many design cues with its larger sibling, the Saint Kitts, the Hawaiian offers a space-conscious alternative that still delivers the full sauna and steam experience.
This model features hinged front-entry doors, similar to the Southwood, and maintains the convenient sliding glass door between the steam and sauna cabins for easy transitions. It’s available in either black or white finishes, giving homeowners a modern visual choice without compromising on functionality.
While its smaller size naturally limits the internal bench space and layout flexibility compared to the Saint Kitts, the Hawaiian is a smart pick for those seeking a genuine traditional sauna setup in a more modest footprint. It’s especially well-suited to small bathrooms, guest suites, or tight in-home spa layouts where every inch matters.
Saint Kitts Steam Sauna
Saint Kitts Steam Shower with Traditional Sauna
The Saint Kitts is our large-format traditional sauna and steam shower combination unit, measuring 86.5" x 48" x 86.5", and designed for left-corner installation. As the full-sized counterpart to the Hawaiian, it offers a more spacious layout, ideal for those seeking a true dry sauna experience with room to relax.
This model features sliding glass entry doors for the main access points and a fixed tempered glass panel separating the sauna and steam cabins. While it lacks the sliding third door found in other models, many users prefer this setup for its simplicity, easier installation, and fewer moving parts to maintain. For those who don’t need to transition directly between wet and dry zones, it’s a clean and reliable layout.
The Saint Kitts has been one of our most important products over the years, a long-standing cornerstone of our lineup. While it has gone through design updates and improvements, its fundamental layout and performance have made it our all-time best-selling unit. It continues to be a trusted choice for customers who want the timeless feel of a traditional sauna with the added benefit of a fully-featured steam shower.
